Description
The Well Pharmaceuticals Reusable Hot & Cold Pack with Fabric Pouch is a multipurpose gel pack designed for both heat and cold therapy to help relieve aches and pains including first aid treatment for sprains and strains, and relief from headaches, period pains and general muscle aches:
- As a hot pack: provides temporary relief of muscle aches, sprains and strains, back pain menstrual cramps and sinusitis.
- As a cold pack: temporary relief of headache and toothache, and can be used to help reduce a fever.
The soft fabric sleeve provides comfort and protects the skin during use.
How to Use
Hot Pack
HOT WATER: Bring water to the boil; remove from heat and immerse the hot/cold pack for approx. 4-10 minutes. Check after the first 4 mins, then every 1 minute until the correct temperature has been reached.
MICROWAVE: Adjust times to suit the power of your microwave according to the microwave manufacturer's instructions.
- Place the hot/cold pack flat in the microwave oven.
- Remove the pack, check for any splits or leakages, knead to distribute heat.
- GUIDANCE ONLY - DO NOT OVERHEAT:
- 600W: 30 seconds
- 700W: 20 seconds
- 800W+: 10 seconds
Cold Pack
FREEZER: To freeze, place the pack flat in the freezer for no longer than 1 hour.
Ingredients
The hot/cold pack is a mixture of: Water, Glycerol, Carboxymethyl Cellulose, Dimethyloldimethylhydantoin, Bromonitropropandiol, Dipropylene Glycol, Chloromethylisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Iodopropynyl Butyl Carbamate.
