What our Pharmacy Technician jobs entail

Working under the supervision of a Pharmacist, you’ll help customers to receive the best medication for their needs, whether that’s by listening to their issues and offering over the counter medicines or by fulfilling prescriptions. You’ll also offer customers advice on how to take their medicine and on any potential side-effects. Plus, on occasion, you will refer customers to another healthcare professional such as a pharmacist, doctor or nurse.

What we look for

For any of our Pharmacy Technician jobs, you will need to a GPhC registered professional who’s adaptable, enthusiastic and friendly. You’ll also be a real people person who’s able to offer expert, but understandable, advice to customers and to build strong working relationships with colleagues and fellow healthcare professionals.

How do I become a Pharmacy Technician?

To become a Pharmacy Technician at Well, you will need to complete a two-year accredited Pharmacy Technician course involving a mix of ‘on-the-job’ training and study. You’ll usually be employed as a pre-registration trainee Pharmacy Technician whilst working towards a level 3 apprenticeship.
