Vitabiotics Osteocare Original Liquid provides a rich source of calcium, vitamin D, magnesium and zinc to support bone health, in a delicious orange flavoured liquid. Ideal for children from 3 years, teens and adults who struggle with tablets, this formula has been scientifically developed using the very latest research to support normal bones, normal teeth and normal muscle function.
Ensuring an adequate intake of calcium is vital for everyone. Evidence suggests that healthy practices early in life, including the adequate consumption of calcium and trace elements, contribute to normal bone health and optimal bone mineralisation. Peak bone mass, obtained during childhood and adolescent growth is known to be of major importance in maintaining bones later in life. Getting enough calcium is especially important for men and women over 50, during pregnancy and breastfeeding, and during and after the menopause.
It is also formulated with an 10µg vitamin D3 per 2 teaspoonfuls, derived from a natural vegan plant source (Algal). Vitamin D helps with the normal absorption of calcium by the body. Vitamin D3, also known as cholecalciferol, is the preferred form of vitamin D because it is the specific form produced by the skin on exposure to sunlight and therefore is more effective than D2. The UK Department of Health recommends that everyone should consider taking a daily supplement containing vitamin D especially during the autumn and winter.

How to Use
1 teaspoonful = approx 5ml
- Adults, including during pregnancy and breastfeeding 2 teaspoonfuls twice daily.
- Children 3-2 years: 2 teaspoonfuls daily.
Ideally taken with a main meal. Do not exceed the recommended intake. Osteocare Liquid can be continued for as long as required. After opening store in fridge and use within eight weeks. To prevent possible contamination with metals such as lead, oyster calcium and bone-dolomite have not been included in the Osteocare formulation.
