* The primary course of diphtheria, tetanus and polio (DTP) vaccination is part of the standard UK childhood immunisation programme. If you have received the primary course, you may need a booster of one dose.

*** Two doses of the tick-borne encephalitis vaccination to be given before travel with an optional third booster dose available 5-12 months after the second dose. Ask your pharmacist for more information about this at your appointment.

How do I book a travel vaccination?

You can book your travel vaccinations online or by heading in-store and talking to a member of our team. You will then attend your appointment at the Well pharmacy location you’ve chosen.

Who is the travel vaccination service suitable for?

As you go through the online booking process, we will check your suitability for the service you’re interested in.

Can I book travel vaccinations for other people?

Yes, you can book travel vaccinations for other people you may be travelling with. Our range includes travel vaccinations for adults and children. Speak to the team at your local pharmacy to find out more.

Where can I get a travel vaccination?

Our travel vaccination service is available at Well pharmacies throughout the UK. You can see where travel vaccinations are currently available using the online booking tool. We’re hoping to expand this service into more of our pharmacies in the near future.

How do I pay for my travel vaccination?

Once you’ve completed your online booking and your appointment is confirmed, you will pay at the pharmacy when you attend your appointment. If you need to come back for more doses of the vaccine you've booked, you'll pay for all doses at your first appointment. This is so we can order your future them in time for your next appointment.

How do I know what vaccines I need for travel?

The vaccinations or medicines you’ll need for travel will vary depending on where you’re travelling. There’s a full list of countries where you can find out more about any entry and vaccination requirements on the government website.

How long before I travel do I need to book my vaccinations?

This will depend on where you’re travelling and how many doses you need to be fully vaccinated for travel. For example, some countries will require you to have multiple doses of a vaccination over several months before your trip. It’s best to plan your travel vaccinations in early to make sure there’s enough time for them to become effective. You can find out more about foreign travel advice on the government website or speak to your local Well pharmacist.
