Solgar Advanced Acidophilus Vegetable Capsules are a probiotic supplement with beneficial live cultures, containing 2 strains of specially cultured strains of L. acidophilus (LA-5®) and B. Lactis (BB-12®), to support digestive health and help maintain healthy gut flora. Each capsule provides 500 million specially cultured strains of L. acidophilus and B.lactis, strains that are well known, extensively researched and naturally in the intestines.
These vegetarian capsules are free from dairy, gluten, wheat, yeast, soya, preservatives and artificial colours, flavours and sweeteners. They do not need be refrigerated, making Solgar Acidophilus Plus Vegetable Capsules a safe and convenient way to increase the level of friendly bacteria in your gut.
As with all of Solgar's Advanced products containing live cultures, these capsules utilise a polysaccharide matrix technology which protects the live bacteria from being destroyed by stomach acid, before it reaches the gut.
All of the strains have been granted Qualified Presumption of Safety (QPS) by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA).
How to Use
Take 1-2 capsules daily, preferably at mealtime.
