Orlistat is used for weight loss and weight maintenance in adults. These capsules work by blocking the absorption of dietary fat, aiding in weight loss when combined with a reduced-calorie diet.

Before taking Orlistat, you should discuss the benefits, limitations and side effects of the medicine with your doctor.

How to use

One Orlistat Capsule is to be taken with each of the three main meals per day. They can be taken immediately before, during or after a meal or up to one hour after a meal. The capsule should be swallowed with water.

Warnings

Do not take Orlistat if you:

• are allergic to orlistat or any other ingredients in this medicine
• are pregnant or breastfeeding

Talk to your pharmacist or doctor before taking Orlistat if you are unsure this is the right treatment.

Ingredients

Each capsule contains 120 mg of orlistat.
