In Wales, all training is multisector across different healthcare settings. The programme is split into two 6-month placement blocks where prescribing elements will be provided in the second 6-month placement. Well Pharmacy are providing placements in both the first and second placement block depending on our DPP availability in our Welsh pharmacies.
You will be provided with training delivered by Health Education and Improvement Wales (HEIW), and Well Pharmacy will give you access to a variety of learning materials and resources to support your development during your time with us.
If you are offered a role as a newly qualified Pharmacist, you will be invited to our Annual Preparation for Practice conference where you will meet senior leaders and further develop your clinical and leadership skills needed for a Newly Qualified Pharmacist role. How to apply
All applicants must register and apply through Oriel from 4th June 2025 at 12pm and close on 18th June 2025 at 12pm. Candidate preference will open on 23rd July 2025 and close on 23rd October 2025.
The numeracy/SJT booking window opens on 30th July 2025 and closes on 13th August 2025. The numeracy/SJT assessment will happen between 18th September 2025 until 1st October 2025.
