In Scotland, you will be required to complete 52 weeks of training split by either 12 or 6 month placements. You will have access to Turas Training Portfolio with a structured and supported curriculum. NES will provide virtual discussion groups and you will also have access to a comprehensive community specific training programme provided by Well Pharmacy which will cover a variety of topics relevant to community pharmacy and your registration assessment.
By completing your Foundation Training with Well, we will cover your GPhC and RPS fees and provide you with a Designated Supervisor who will support you with building your skills and knowledge to become a Responsible Pharmacist. You will also be invited to our Annual Preparation for Practice conference where you will meet senior leaders and further develop your clinical and leadership skills needed for a Newly Qualified Pharmacist role.
