How to Use
For weight loss: take 2 tablets twice a day, with the two main meals of the day that contain the most fat.
For weight maintenance: once you have reached your target weight, the dose can be reduced to 2 tablets a day.
- Swallow the tablets whole with a large glass (at least 250ml) of a low-calorie drink such as water.
- As the tablets are rich in fibre, drink at least 2 litres of fluid a day.
- Take with 2 of your 3 main meals only, and make sure at least one meal a day contains high-quality oils, so your body still gets fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E and K) and essential fatty acids.
Warnings
- Not suitable if you follow a very low-fat diet.
- If you take other medicines, especially anti-epileptic drugs, blood thinners, hormone treatments or the contraceptive pill, leave a gap of at least 4 hours between taking these and Formoline L112 EXTRA, as it may reduce how well they are absorbed.
Do not use if you:
- are allergic to crustaceans (shellfish) or any of the ingredients
- are underweight (BMI under 18.5)
- are pregnant or breastfeeding
- have chronic constipation, intestinal obstruction or a similar bowel condition
- take long-term medication that slows bowel movement
Speak to your doctor or pharmacist before use if you take long-term medication, have a serious digestive condition or have had digestive surgery, or are aged over 80.
Possible side effects: in rare cases, constipation, flatulence or bloating (often linked to not drinking enough fluid), and allergic-type reactions such as skin rash or itching. If you experience any side effects, stop taking the product and speak to your doctor or pharmacist.

Ingredients
Active Ingredient: Polyglucosamine L112 (73%) — a natural dietary fibre derived from crustacean shells (a ß-1,4-polymer of D-glucosamine and N-acetyl-D-glucosamine).
Other Ingredients: Ascorbic acid, tartaric acid, and tableting aids (plant-based magnesium stearate, plant-based cellulose, sodium sulphate, silicon dioxide).
Please note as the active ingredient is derived from crustacean shells, this product contains dietary fibre of animal origin and is not suitable for vegetarians/vegans, or for anyone with an allergy to crustaceans/shellfish.
