Description
Capsicolle Capsicum Warming Plaster is an ultra thin patch that uses vegan plant-based herbal extracts used for thousands of years to produce a deep penetrating warmth that relieves sore muscles. Suitable for adults and children over 12 years of age, it provides natural targeted relief for back, joints and muscles. Applied directly to the skin, it can be worn for 2-8 hours and is invisible under clothing so you can remain active throughout the day.
It is made with a hypoallergenic adhesive and the 12x18cm patch can be cut into smaller patches/shapes if needed.
- Capsaicin: among the traditional components of Native American healing as well as being widely used in modern medicine, it is commonly used for relief from conditions involving muscles and joints. Content in patch: 2.89%.
- Menthol: widely used for pain management applications. Content in patch: 7.8%.
- Camphor: Obtained from the bark and wood of the camphor tree, topical uses of camphor include treating pain, warts, cold sores, haemorrhoids, osteoarthritis, anti-itch, increasing local blood flow, and as a counterirritant. Camphor is an FDA-approved topical analgesic and anaesthetic. Content in patch: 9.6%
How to Use
You will feel the heat coming and going throughout the day as you move about normally whilst wearing the heat patch.
It's best to wear the patch for at least two hours (8-12 max). If it gets too hot, take it off.
Everyone's skin is different so you may feel the heat immediately or it may take a while to come through. You may not feel much f you apply it and remain perfectly still – if there is no reaction after 45 minutes, consider moving about a bit or applying very gentle pressure over the area.
Warnings
- Do not use for skin diseases, skin injuries or skin damage
- Do not use on skin which cannot sense heat or cold sensation
- Do not use if you are allergic to Capsaicin or other components of the product
- In rare cases, it is possible to have an allergic reaction, causing skin irritation, itching or a rash. If this happens stop using the pad immediately and if required, seek medical attention
- Do not use 1 hour before or after taking a bath
- Must not come into contact with mucus membranes, especially the eyes.
- Wash your hands after manipulating the patch
- Do not use more than 3 patches per day
- Do not use the heat patch whilst sleeping or apply too much pressure to it
- Do not apply to the patch to any person incapable of removing it themselves
- If the patch feels too hot, take it off. Do not use the heat patch when you cannot easily remove it
- Our adhesive is hypoallergenic – similar to that of a normal skin plaster – if you are allergic to adhesives seek advice before trying
- Pregnant and lactating women should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
- Persons who have medical conditions, are on medication or may be pregnant may be more susceptible to burns or reactions and should seek medical advice prior to use
- Adults and children 12+ only, keep out of reach of children and pets. Packaging not child proof.
