The Braun Thermoscan 7 Age Precision Ear Thermometer is a clinically validated infrared thermometer that gives fast, accurate readings interpreted as a traffic light system, based on age. As the definition of fever changes with age as a child grows from newborn to toddler, Braun's Age Precision technology correctly interprets the measurement according to age (0-3 months, 3-36 months, or 36+ months), ensuring suitability for the whole family.
This digital thermometer features a pre-warmed tip (34°C) designed to be close to your body temperature for improved accuracy, while making the experience for little ones more pleasant. It is supplied with 21 Braun Hygiene Caps to keep the lens clean and free from obstruction, and a protective cradle for safe storage.
The probe of the thermometer can safely be used to measure the temperature with newborns as it does not have to be fully inserted into the ear canal to get an accurate measurement.
