Anusol Plus-HC Suppositories contains hydrocortisone which reduces inflammation, and therefore eases the pain and discomfort of haemorrhoids (piles). It also contains active ingredients which soothe the itch and irritation associated with the added haemorrhoids.
This product is not recommended for children under the age of 18.
How to Use
- Anusol Plus-HC Suppositories should be inserted into the anus
- Wash anal area and dry gently with a soft towel before using this medicine
- Remove plastic cover from the suppository before use
- Wash your hands before and after using Anusol
- The suppository will melt after insertion
Warnings
- Read the patient information leaflet carefully before use
- Do not use in pregnancy without medical advice. If you continually suffer from haemorrhoids, if the condition is not improved, or if rectal bleeding occurs consult your doctor
- Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients
- Do not use if you have fungal, viral or bacterial skin sores
- Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine if you are taking any other medicines or have rectal bleeding
- This medicine is not recommended for children under 18 years of age
- Do not swallow product
- Keep out of reach and sight of children
- Do not store above 25°C
Ingredients
The active substances per suppositories are: Hydrocortisone acetate, Zinc oxide, Bismuth subgallate, Balsam Peru Bismuth oxide and Benzyl benzoate.
