The Silex Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) Self Test is a urine dipstick test that detects leukocytes and nitrates in urine to help diagnose a urinary tract infection. This simple, easy to perform test offers clinically tested results that are over 99.5% accurate in just 2 minutes.
UTIs are a common problem and around 50% of women face this problem at some point in their lives. Symptoms include a regular urge to go to the toilet, an inability to hold your urine in (or a feeling of this), pain when passing urine (sometimes stinging), foul smelling urine, lower stomach pain and blood in the urine. In elderly people, it can also cause confusion or delirium.
