Description
Vardenafil is an erectile dysfunction (ED) treatment. It is particularly effective for men with diabetes and helps improve the ability to achieve and maintain an erection when sexually aroused.
How it Works
Vardenafil increases blood flow to the penis, supporting firmer, longer‑lasting erections.
It does not treat the underlying causes of ED or increase sexual desire.
How to Use
- Take one tablet 30–60 minutes before sex.
- Works best on an empty stomach or after a low‑fat meal.
- Alcohol can reduce its effectiveness.
- Do not combine with other ED medicines.
- Never take more than one tablet in 24 hours.
Treatment Results
- Effects last for up to 5 hours.
- The 10 mg dose works for up to 87% of men and is often faster‑acting than other ED treatments.
- High‑fat meals and more than 1–2 units of alcohol can make it less effective.
- Try a treatment on at least eight occasions before considering changes.
Side Effects
Possible side effects include:
- Facial flushing
- Headache
- Light headedness
- Nasal or sinus congestion
- Indigestion
- Palpitations
- Blurred vision
