Description
This antiseptic cream is a first aid treatment for minor wounds and skin reactions. Savlon Antiseptic Cream helps cleanse and protect minor wounds from infection.
For the cleansing and prevention of infection in all types of lesions ranging from minor skin disorders or blisters to minor burns and small wounds.
Savlon Antiseptic Cream is suitable for use on Adults & Children.
Strength
0.5% w/w / 0.1% w/w

How to use
Please read the enclosed leaflet carefully before using this product. Use this medicine only your skin.
Warnings and cautions
Do not use: If you are allergic to any of the ingredients, especially Chlorhexidine as it may cause allergic reactions.
Cetostearyl alcohol may cause local skin reactions. Parahydroxybenzoates may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed). Also contains fragrances with limonene, linalool, benzyl benzoate and citral which may cause allergic reactions.
Use this medicine only on your skin. Do not use on the eyes or ears.
Stop using and seek medical help immediately if you have any of the following very rare allergic reactions:
• Difficulty breathing
• Swelling of the face, tongue or throat
• Dizziness
• Skin irritation or rash.
If you experience these or other side effects, stop using and seek medical advice.

If you get any, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or nurse. This includes any possible side effects not listed in this leaflet. You can also report side effects directly via the Yellow Card Scheme at: www.mhra.gov.uk/yellowcard By reporting side effects you can help provide more information on the safety of this medicine.
Storage: Do not store above 25°C. Do not use after the expiry date shown on the end of the tube. Keep out of sight and reach of children.
Precautions:
• This is a medicine; Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have an underlying medical condition, are taking any other medication or complementary therapy, or if symptoms persist.
• Seek advice before using if you are breast feeding, pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or suffer from allergies.
Ingredients
Active ingredient: Contains Cetrimide, Chlorhexidine Gluconate. Ingredients: Cetostearyl alcohol, liquid paraffin, methylhydroxybenzoate (E218), propylhydroxybenzoate (E216), disodium edetate, perfume (inc. limonene, linalool, benzyl benzoate, citral) & purified Water.
