Description
MOVICOL Ease Citrus is an osmotic laxative in powder‑sachet form, used for relief of occasional constipation.
It works by drawing water into your large intestine, which helps soften the stool and restore more natural bowel movements.
It’s available over‑the‑counter for adults over the age of 18. It can be used during pregnancy or while breastfeeding; however we strongly advise you talk to your doctor or a pharmacist before taking it if you are planning a pregnancy, pregnant or breastfeeding.
Sachets come in convenient “stick‑pack” form, making it easy to carry or store.

Each 13.7 g sachet contains:
Macrogol 3350 — 13.125 g
Sodium chloride — 0.3507 g
Sodium bicarbonate — 0.1785 g
Potassium chloride — 0.0466 g
Excipients / flavouring agents include:
Citrus flavour (lime & lemon flavouring — built from acacia solids, maltodextrin, lime oil, lemon oil, citral, citric acid and water)
Sweetener Acesulfame potassium (E950) for palatability.
When prepared (i.e. dissolved in 125 ml water), the resulting solution delivers approximate electrolyte concentrations per sachet of:
Sodium: ≈ 65 mmol/l
Chloride: ≈ 53 mmol/l
Potassium: ≈ 5.4 mmol/l
Bicarbonate: ≈ 17 mmol/l
