Description
Alloga Ibuprofen Gel 5% w/w, 100 g is a topical non-steroidal anti-inflammatory gel formulated to provide localized relief from pain, swelling and inflammation of muscles, joints and soft tissues — for example in conditions such as backache, sprains, strains, rheumatic and sports-related injuries. The gel contains 5% w/w (i.e., 50 mg per gram) of the active ingredient Ibuprofen, allowing the medication to be applied directly to the affected area for a targeted effect. The formulation is designed for external use only, and once rubbed into the skin it is absorbed to exert its effect on underlying tissues.
Ingredients
The gel base may include alcohol (e.g., isopropyl/ethanol), propylene glycol, carbomer or hydroxyethylcellulose gelling agents, water and possibly benzyl alcohol or other preservatives. Usage Instructions
Apply a small amount of gel thinly to the affected area, gently rub until absorbed, usually up to 3-4 times daily, and wash hands after application unless the hands are the treated area. Avoid use on broken or irritated skin, avoid tight bandaging/occlusion unless directed by a physician.
