Lyclear Creme Rinse Permethrin is a medicine which kills head lice and eggs in just one 10 minute treatment.
Lyclear Creme Rinse is a treatment for head lice and nits, working in just 10 minutes to kill the lice and get rid of their eggs. Lyclear contains the active ingredient Permethrin, which works as an insecticide. Permethrin kills the head lice and their eggs instantly, leaving your hair free and clear of lice. The provided comb can help you to be sure that the head lice and nits are gone from your hair.
It is suitable for asthmatics and children from 6 months of age.
In case of re-infestation or abnormal infestation, treatment needs to be repeated.
How to use
Step 1: Shampoo the hair with a mild shampoo. Do not use combined shampoo conditioner or a medicated shampoo. Rinse thoroughly and towel dry so that the hair remains damp.
Step 2: After shaking the bottle thoroughly, apply sufficient Lyclear Creme Rinse to saturate the hair, roots and scalp. Work methodically through the hair and remember to pay particular attention to the areas behind the ears and around the nape of the neck. For the majority of individuals all of the contents of this pack will be required to ensure that the hair and scalp are well saturated.
Step 3: Leave Lyclear Creme Rinse on the hair for 10 minutes. An application for longer than 10 minutes will not give better results, but a full 10 minutes is required.
Step 4: Rinse thoroughly with water. After the final rinse and while the hair is still wet, use the comb provided in the pack to remove the lice and eggs. Comb the hair in sections from the roots and work over the whole head in this way. Normal hair drying routines can then be followed

- Children under 6 months of age should be treated on the advice of a doctor
- Neither Permethrin or Lyclear are irritants to the eyes, however if Lyclear is accidently introduced into the eyes rinse immediately with plenty of water
- If you are pregnant or breast-feeding consult your pharmacist or doctor before using this product
- Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients
- Please consult your pharmacist or doctor if symptoms persist
- If one member of the family needs treatment, it is important to check the rest of the family and treat them if live lice are seen
Ingredients
Permethrin 1% w/w.
Isopropanol, stearalkonium chloride, cetyl alcohol, ceteth-10 (polyoxyl 10 cetyl ether), hydroxyethycellulose, hydrolysed animal protein, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, balsam fir canada, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, fragrance 06.070, propylene glycol, E110, anhydrous citric acid and purified water.
