Description
Drakkar Noir, launched in 1982 by Guy Laroche and created by Pierre Wargnye, is a masculine aromatic‑fougère fragrance. It opens with fresh herbal and citrus notes — lavender, lemon, bergamot, rosemary, with aromatic touches of basil and mint. The heart adds spice and woods like coriander, juniper, and wormwood, while the base blends patchouli, cedar, oakmoss, balsam, vetiver and a leather‑woody depth. It’s bold, sharp, with nostalgic 80’s barbershop character.
Ingredients
The formulation of Drakkar Noir EDT includes Alcohol Denat., Water (Aqua), and Fragrance (Parfum) as its primary carriers. It also contains common fragrance / cosmetic additives and allergens such as benzyl salicylate, linalool, benzyl alcohol, limonene, hydroxycitronellal, citral, coumarin, geraniol, benzyl benzoate, and evernia (oakmoss) extract. These help provide its scent profile, fixative qualities, and overall stability.
