Product Description
Gaviscon Liquid Original Aniseed is an oral suspension formulated for relief of heartburn, indigestion and acid reflux. The “Original” range uses a combination of antacid salts and alginate, which:
Neutralise excess stomach acid.
Create a protective “raft” on top of stomach contents to help prevent acid rising up the oesophagus.
The aniseed flavour is offered for users who prefer it (versus peppermint).
Active Ingredients (per 10 ml)
Sodium alginate: 500 mg
Sodium bicarbonate: 267 mg
Calcium carbonate: 160 mg
Other ingredients include carbomer, parahydroxybenzoate preservatives, aniseed/fennel flavouring, and colourants (depending on region).
Usage Instructions
Adults and children 12 years and over: take 10-20 ml after meals and at bedtime.
Shake well before use.
Children under 12 should use only on medical advice.
If symptoms persist for more than 7 days, consult a doctor.
