Description
Otrivine Adult Metered Dose 0.1% Nasal Spray is for application in the nose to give relief from:
nasal congestion (blocked nose, including colds), perennial and allergic rhinitis (recurring inflammation of the nasal mucous membranes, including hay fever) and sinusitis. Otrivine Adult
Metered Dose 0.1% Nasal Spray contains the active ingredient xylometazoline hydrochloride which helps to open up and clear the nasal passages by reducing the excessive nasal secretions and reduces swollen blood vessels to their normal size.
Otrivine Nasal Spray helps unblock your
nose in 2 minutes, and lasts for up to 10 hours.
How to Use
Dosage: Adults and elderly: One application in
each nostril 1 to 3 times daily. Not suitable for children under 12 years. Do not use for more than 7 consecutive days. Otrivine Adult Metered Dose 0.1% Nasal Spray contains
xylometazoline hydrochloride.

Directions:
For full instructions see enclosed leaflet. Before using for the first time, prime the pump by actuating 4 times. Once primed, the pump will normally remain charged throughout regular daily treatment periods. If the spray is not ejected during the full actuation stroke, or if the product has not been used for longer than 7 days, the pump will need to be reprimed with 4 actuations. Dosage for Adults and Children over 12 years: one application in each nostril 1 to 3 times daily.
Not suitable for children or infants under 12 years.
Warnings
Keep all medicines out of the sight and reach of children. If you are pregnant or taking other medicines or are under a doctor's care consult your doctor before using Otrivine. After first opening, the nasal spray can be used until the end of the shelf-life. Each Otrivine pack should be used by one person only to prevent any cross infection. Do not use after the expiry date given.
Do not use continuously for more than seven consecutive days. If symptoms persist consult your doctor. Warning: Do not exceed the stated dose
Ingredients
Active Ingredient: Xylometazoline Hydrochloride 0.1% w/v, Each application contains: 140 micrograms of Xylometazoline Hydrochloride.
Also contains: Hypromellose,
