How to Use
To use Maloff Protect, start taking one tablet daily, 1-2 days before entering a malaria-risk area. Continue taking one tablet each day during your stay and for 7 days after leaving the area. Swallow the tablet whole with water, ideally with food or a milky drink to enhance absorption. Stick to a regular schedule, taking the tablet at the same time each day. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember, but never double up doses. Always complete the full course, even after leaving the malaria-risk area.
Warnings
Before using Maloff Protect, consult a healthcare professional if you have kidney or liver problems, are pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking other medications. Maloff Protect is not suitable for individuals under 40 kg or those allergic to atovaquone, proguanil, or any of its ingredients. Side effects may include nausea, headaches, or abdominal pain. If you experience severe reactions or signs of an allergic reaction, seek medical attention immediately. Use sunscreen as Maloff Protect may increase sensitivity to sunlight. Always complete the full course of treatment to ensure protection against malaria.
