Red eye, also known as bloodshot eyes, is a condition that can be associated with soreness and may involve other symptoms. When the eyes are red it is because more blood than usual is flowing through the small blood vessels of the eye.
- Optrex Bloodshot Eye Drops are medicated eye drops to relieve redness of the eyes
- They are mildly astringent to temporarily relieve redness of the eye caused by minor eye irritation.
- Helps provide relief from eyes that have become red and sore due to environmental factors such as dust, chlorine etc.
- The drops help to reduce the bloodshot appearance and restore normal blood flow
How to Use
Adults and children over 12 years:
- Gently squeeze one or two drops into each eye.
- Do not use more than 4 times in 24 hours. Frequent use for long periods may increase the redness of the eye
Warnings
Stop using and talk to your pharmacist if you have:
- Eye pain, changes in vision or increased redness.
- No improvement after 24 hours.
Ingredients
Active ingredients: Hamamelis Virginiana (Distilled Witch Hazel BPC 12.5% w/v) and Naphazoline Hydrochloride 0.01% w/v).
Also contains: Glycerin, Boric Acid, Borax, Disodium Edetate, Benzalkonium Chloride, Purified Water.
