Nevolat: How does it work?

Daily injections for sustainable weight loss

Nevolat relies on its active ingredient, liraglutide, to support weight loss.

It copies the behaviour of a hormone called GLP-1, sending signals to your brain so that you feel fuller for longer.

Reach your goals with confidence

You can lose up to at least 8% of your starting body weight in just over a year with Nevolat.1

Consistent use of the weight loss treatment with regular exercise and a balanced diet can help you reach milestones in your journey.

Take your injections wherever you feel comfortable

Nevolat injections can be taken at home, work or wherever else you go.

The pen injectors can be carried and are easy to store so you can take your medication when you need it.

Nevolat weight loss injections

Using your Nevolat pens is easy. In a few simple steps, you can take your daily dose with confidence.

Choose a site to inject your medication

Your upper arm, abdomen or thigh are all suitable injection sites. Wash your hands thoroughly and clean your chosen injection site to prepare.

Set your dose using your injector pen

You will need to dial the Nevolat injector pen to select the correct dose. If you need help, our pharmacists can advise you on how to use it safely.

Inject your Nevolat dose

Once you’ve dialled up the right dose, you can inject your medication. Make sure you can see the dose counter and hold the injector against your skin while you count to 6 slowly. This will make sure that you have received the full dose. You can then remove the needle from your skin.

Can Nevolat cause hair loss?

Hair loss is not a common side effect of taking liraglutide. Although some people have reported it after having started the medication, changes to their hair were likely caused by weight loss itself. Will I regain weight if I stop Nevolat?

You may regain some weight if you stop taking liraglutide. However, you should speak to your healthcare provider before you stop. You should always speak to your pharmacist or doctor about using another medication while taking liraglutide. It can interact with other medicines including pain relief products like aspirin, other weight loss medications and supplements like Vitamins B12 and D.
