What is this product used for?
Closing, securing and supporting small cuts and minor wounds.
Who is it suitable for?
Anyone
How to use
Clean and dry the wound and surrounding area. Remove the strips from the wrapper. Tear away the small perforated tab from one end of the backing card. Remove at a 45 degree angle to prevent the strip from curling. Apply half of the first strip, press firmly down next to and in the opposite direction of the wound. Line up the skin edges of the cut and place firmly (but gently) across the pulled together skin to the other side of the wound. Place additional strips across the wound 2-3mm apart as required. For ease of removal, apply light pressure at the centre of the strip, then alternately peel back the strip from each end towards the cut site. Gently remove the whole strip.
Warnings and cautions
Strips should be tight but comfortable. If the wound continues to bleed or becomes swollen, reddened or painful, seek medical advice. Do not use after the expiry date.
Do not use if individual wrappers are damaged or torn. Do not use on infected, bleeding or weeping wounds. Use each strip only once.
