Description

Cialis is a branded medicine which contains the active ingredient tadalafil. Tadalafil can be utilised as a treatment for erectile dysfunction (ED).

Tadalafil can be taken in the form of a tablet and should only be used by men over the age of 18. Tadalafil works by relaxing blood vessels in the penis to increase blood flow. This should help you get, and keep, an erection for sex or masturbation.

The main difference between medicines containing tadalafil and other erectile dysfunction tablets is how long Cialis is active in your body. Cialis can still be effective up to 36 hours after taking a tablet, so it allows you to be more spontaneous about when you have sex or masturbate.

Cialis 2.5mg is a daily version of Cialis. It’s made for men who have regular sex or masturbation. So you take the tablet every day and you’re ready for sex at any time.

Please note, you need to be sexually aroused for tadalafil to work. If you're not sexually aroused, or your desire for sex (libido) is low, then you probably will not get an erection.

How to use

Please read the patient information leaflet before use.

• Take Cialis at the same time every day.
• Swallow the tablet whole with water.
• Do not take more than one tablet a day.

Warnings

Cialis is only suitable for men. Do not take Cialis if you:

• are allergic to tadalafil or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
• are taking any form of organic nitrate or nitric oxide donors such as amyl nitrite
• have serious heart disease or recently had a heart attack within the last 90 days
• have had a stroke within the last 6 months
• have low blood pressure or uncontrolled high blood pressure
• have ever had loss of vision because of non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION), a condition described as “stroke of the eye”
• are taking riociguat.

Talk to your pharmacist or doctor before taking if you have:

• sickle cell anaemia (an abnormality of red blood cells)
• multiple myeloma (cancer of the bone marrow)
• leukaemia (cancer of the blood cells)
• any deformation of your penis
• a serious liver problem
• a severe kidney problem.

Storage

• Keep all medicines out of the sight and reach of children.
• Store in a cool, dry place below 30°
• Keep Cialis in its original packaging and do not use after the expiry date.
• If you want to dispose of Cialis, take it to a pharmacy for safe disposal.

1 tablet: 2.5mg tadalafil.
