Eating well
Understand what a balanced diet is and how you can achieve one using the NHS eat well guide.

A balanced diet is key to reaching and sticking to a healthy weight.

The NHS Eatwell Guide shows how much of each food group we should aim to have on our plates. This guide should work for most people, apart from children under two.1 If you have a medical condition or special dietary needs, speak to your doctor or a registered dietitian before making changes to your diet.
